Trailside Hideaway LLC campground was established in 2014. It started out as just land with a bunch of trees. It was clear from the very beginning that the location was not only going to be beautiful but also perfect for the recreational enthusiast. After the road and campsites were dug in, it began to look more like a campground. Hard work and long hours over a couple of years reflects on the amount of time and dedication that went into every part of making this campground what it is today.

When you think of camping you usually don't think of luxury, however Trailside Hideaway's "outhouse" is top notch! In floor heat, running water, flushable toilets, hot showers, laundry room, and make-up/hair station is all very much appreciated by those who like to "glamp". Having these amenities available to you will make you feel more at home.

The campgrounds main attraction is that it is located on a recreational trail! Easy access for you to pack up your gear and enjoy the Northwoods doing your favorite activities! From four-wheeling to snowmobiling and biking to walking there is always something to do!

Water & electric sites available for your needs. New in 2020 is a group site that can fit up to 5 campers. In 2021, 16 additional sites were added with water, electric, and sewer, but are only available for yearly campers. Then, in 2022 a parking area was added along with a 1.3 mile walking/biking trail. A play area for the little kiddos is also on the property! River access is breathtaking and located across the ATV/Snowmobile trail. You can spend hours relaxing and listening to the water run. A dump-station is available for your convenience as you exit the campground.

Trailside Hideaway would not exist without David Belland, father of Chad Belland (owner). He put so much hard work, time, and money into this campground. David enjoyed working on the campground and being with his son, helping him. There wasn’t a thing he wouldn’t do for his son. Although he is gone the memories will be forever cherished and he will never be forgotten.
